Classic Brownies

Brownies are a classic and easy dessert when you want something chocolate and quick! Serve with vanilla ice cream, and enjoy!
Ingredients
- ¾ cup Food Club all-purpose flour
- ¼ teaspoon Food Club baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon Food Club salt
- 2 tablespoons Food Club vegetable oil or canola/avocado
- ¼ cup Food Club butter
- 2 tablespoon water
- ¾ cup Food Club granulated white sugar
- 1 cup Food Club semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 C. Food Club chopped walnuts (optional)
- ½ teaspoon Food Club pure vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
Directions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
- Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl and set aside.
- Add butter, oil, water, and sugar in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir frequently and bring to a low simmer. Remove from heat. Stir in chocolate chips and walnuts (if wanted).
- Transfer sauce to a large bowl and whisk in vanilla and eggs. Gradually add the flour mixture and mix until fully combined.
- Pour brownie mix into a lightly greased or parchment paper-lined 8"x8" baking dish.
- Bake brownies for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool.
- Once the brownies have cooled, slice and serve with vanilla ice cream. Enjoy!
