Cajun Style Seafood Boil
What gathering isn't improved by a delicious seafood feast, and this Cajun-style boil delivers bold flavors and a fun, communal dining experience!
Ingredients:
4 lbs of mixed seafood
10-12 small red potatoes, halved
6 ears of corn, husked and cut into thirds
1 onion, quartered
5-6 cloves garlic, smashed
1/4 cup Old Bay seasoning
2 tbsp smoked paprika
2 tbsp salt
1 tbsp cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
1/4 cup lemon juice
4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
Directions:
1. Fill a large pot with water and bring it to a boil. Add potatoes, corn, onion, and garlic. Cook for 10 minutes.
2. Add seafood to the pot (crab legs, shrimp, crawfish, lobster tails). Boil for 5-6 minutes, or until seafood is cooked through.
3. In a small bowl, mix Old Bay seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, cayenne pepper, and lemon juice. Drizzle this spice mixture over the seafood and vegetables, stirring to coat evenly.
4. Pour the melted butter over the top and toss everything together to ensure all ingredients are coated.
5. Serve the boil family-style on a large tray lined with parchment paper. Let guests dive in and enjoy this flavorful feast!
